New in: Dev Sewgobind, our new Chief Officer - Talent & Culture

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dev Sewgobind in the position of Chief Officer - Talent & Culture as from 3 January 2018.

This is a newly created position at CIEL which aims at bringing further Group synergies, promoting best Human Resources Practices and Culture for the benefit of CIEL's most important asset, our people.

Dev comes with a wealth of experience in designing human capital strategies, implementing business enabling people processes, nurturing talents, and implementing efficient talent and leadership development programs within organisations.

He has spent the last 18 years of his career in multinationals, namely British American Tobacco (BAT) and Barclays. With BAT, he held several senior HR Leadership positions based in Mauritius, Mozambique and Kenya. Dev holds a Degree in Management Studies from the University of Mauritius and a Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of Manchester.
